How it began…
From as far back as I can remember entertaining and creating is my passion and I'm looking forward to serving the rental needs of the Delmarva community! I have always loved china, I think my grandmother and mother passed this down to me, you never ate a meal on a paper plate and she always had fresh flowers in a unique container on her table. When my daughter Katie was getting married, we started hitting every consignment and thrift shop we could find. We collected china, cut glass, silver platters, glasses, candelabras, and old pieces for displays. As I collected, each piece told a heartfelt story. From a man holding onto the china they received as a wedding gift after his wife passed to someone passing on their grandmother’s china that they remember her serving her meals on. All were eager to see their beloved china come alive in the home and hearts of their new owner. After the wedding, we had many inquiries to rent our dishes, that I decided to start sharing the traditions in hopes that they would create lasting moments for every occasion.
So, began, The Pink Cellar! The thought that love and family traditions would be reborn again and again, brings me so much joy.
